Metabolomics
 
Metabolomics is a new omics technology developed after genomics and proteomics. It is an integral part of systems biology. It conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis of all small molecule metabolites in organisms and looks for the relative relationship between metabolites and physiological and pathological changes. Most of the research objects are small molecule substances with molecular weight less than 1500 (or 1200).
 
Non-target metabolome Non-target metabolome (LC-MS) Unbiased, high-throughput, high-resolution, primary and secondary full coverage.
(relative quantification) Non-target metabolome (GC-MS) Suitable for analyzing volatile substances and small molecules with strong polarity such as hydroxyl, carboxyl, and amino groups.
  Non-target lipid group (LC-MS) Fatty acyl, polyethylene, glycerolipid, sphingolipid, glycolipid and other 8 types of lipid substances.
Targeted metabolome (absolute quantification) High-throughput targeted metabolome With the standard as a reference, it has the characteristics of strong specificity, high sensitivity and high accuracy.
