Product introduction

T2T (Telomerase-to-telomere) or gapless genome is a high-quality genome with high genomic accuracy, continuity and integrity. With the development of three-generation sequencing technology, especially the combination of high-continuity ONT ultra-long sequencing and high-accuracy HIFI sequencing, the problem of difficult assembly of centromere or highly repetitive regions have been overcome, and the continuity and integrity of chromosomes have been greatly improved, leading to the near-0 gap era of genome assembly.
 
The assembly of the T2T genome facilitates the in-depth research of highly repetitive sequence regions or highly repetitive structures in the genome, and provides an opportunity for the research of the variant characteristics of centromere regions or unknown highly repetitive regions.
 
As one of the few service providers in China that can continuously produce high-quality ONT ultra-long data, Wuhan Benagen Technology Co., Ltd. has long been committed to the research and development of the yield and quality of ONT sequencing data and the quality of ONT ultra-long genome assembly.
